RCBOA Marketplace – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the RCBOA Marketplace (“Marketplace”). By accessing or using the Marketplace, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you may not use the Marketplace.

  1. Definitions
  • “RCBOA” refers to the platform operator/organization managing the Marketplace.
  • “User” or “You” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Marketplace.
  • “Seller” refers to any User listing items or services for sale.
  • “Buyer” refers to any User purchasing items or services.
  • “Content” refers to images, descriptions, posts, messages, or information submitted by Users.
  1. Eligibility

General Marketplace Use

  • The Marketplace is intended for use by current and verified members of the RCBOA.

  • Purpose: The Marketplace is provided solely as a neutral venue for members to list and sell or trade personal items.

  • Disclaimer: RCBOA is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers, does not take possession of any items, and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or description of the items listed, or the truthfulness or accuracy of the listings.

  1. User Accounts
  • Users are required to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree that all information provided is accurate and up-to-date.
  1. Listings & Content

4.1 Seller Responsibilities

  • Sellers must provide accurate, truthful descriptions of items.
  • Listings must comply with all applicable laws and Marketplace policies.
  • Prohibited items include (but are not limited to): illegal goods, weapons, alcohol, counterfeit items, hazardous materials, and any items banned by local regulations.

4.2 Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of the Content you post.
  • By posting Content, you grant RCBOA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, host, store, and reproduce the content for operational purposes.
  1. Transactions
  • All transactions are strictly between Buyers and Sellers.
  • RCBOA is NOT a party to any sale and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items sold.
  • Buyers are responsible for reviewing product information before purchasing.
  • If you are selling an item, you MUST provide a 60-day warranty.
  1. Payments & Fees
  • RCBOA may charge listing or transaction fees.
  • Fees (if applicable) will be disclosed before listing or checkout.
  • Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of your account.
  • No payments will be processed through the RCBOA website. All transactions are between buyer and seller.
  1. Shipping & Fulfillment
  • Sellers are fully responsible for timely shipping and delivery of sold items.
  • Buyers should review shipping details prior to purchase.
  • RCBOA is not responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed deliveries.
  1. Returns & Refunds
  • Refund and return policies must be provided by the Seller.
  • RCBOA does not guarantee refunds or mediate disputes but may assist at its discretion.
  • If you do not refund the buyer’s full payment amount, your account will be removed from the marketplace.
  1. Disputes Between Users

Any disputes between Buyers and Sellers must be resolved directly between the parties. RCBOA may, but is not obligated to, intervene.

  1. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • Use the Marketplace for unlawful purposes
  • Harass, defraud, or mislead other Users
  • Post misleading or harmful content
  • Circumvent RCBOA’s platform processes
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Marketplace

Violators will be removed from the marketplace.

  1. Privacy

Use of the Marketplace is also governed by RCBOA’s Privacy Policy. By using the Marketplace, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

  1. Intellectual Property

All RCBOA branding, logos, designs, and platform features are the property of RCBOA. Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform materials without permission.

  1. Suspension & Termination

RCBOA may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity
  • Fail to pay the required fees
  • Abuse platform features or other Users
  1. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Marketplace is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
RCBOA makes no warranties regarding:

  • Item quality
  • Seller reliability
  • Marketplace uptime or performance
  1. Limitation of Liability

RCBOA is not liable for:

  • Lost profits
  • Damages resulting from transactions between Users
  • Damages due to platform downtime or technical issues

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Marketplace is to discontinue use.

  1. Changes to Terms

RCBOA may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Marketplace. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, specifically the laws of Riverside County.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
